What is Àtra Stone?
Àtra Stone began as a gift to a loved one. Using the beauty of nature and chemistry, Àtra Stone is growing into something that can speak to everyone.
The term we use is to “Find your Àtra” whether it’s your favourite gemstone, birthstone, or maybe just one that jumps out for you. The Àtra pendant has something special and unique to everyone.
Gemstones have immense beauty, enhanced by tiny fractures or imperfections that some might call “flaws” but these make each Àtra unique. Something that cant be duplicated.
Kyle Spain started Àtra Stone in 2019 in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, he is a Mission born and raised artist who developed his concrete skills creating custom concrete countertops. In a search for the perfect Christmas gift for his girlfriend, he found far too many mass produced, low quality pieces of jewelry. He wanted jewelry that was high quality, personalized, and affordable, and realized he could hand-make a pendant with his & her birthstones into a custom made gift.
This would become the first Àtra Pendant.
